Engr. Edevbie is an innovataive and seasoned engineer with over 30 years experience in various aspects of electrical engineering concepts, design, procurement, construction, operations management, maintenance and consulting. He has attended several prestigious professional courses and workshops including the IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona; Harvard Business School, Massachusetts; Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania and the Lagos Business School.
An astute administrator and people manager, he is the Managing Director of The 4-Power Consortium Limited (Owners of the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company – ‘PHED’) and Chairman of IEL/CESC JV Board (Technical Partners to the PHED). Engr. Edevbie is a qualified Engineer by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is a Fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (FNSE), member of Nigeria Environmental Society (NES), Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM), a member of Institute of Directors of Nigeria and Fellow Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC).
Engr. Matthew Edevbie is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Income Electrix Limited, a company he founded in 1993. He has brought insightful tenacity and has built the company from a very humble beginning to become the electrical solutions company of choice in Nigeria. The company presently employs over 400 Nigerians and non Nigerians.
