Hon. Enemi Alabo George hails from Abalama town in Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State. He was born to the family of Late Evang. Alabo Kelly Fred George (of the Prince Fred George Amachree house of Buguma/Abalama in Rivers State) and Princess Mary George (Of the King Nkang Abang Royal House of Ikom in Cross Rivers State).  

He holds a B.Sc with Double Honours in Political Science/Public Administration from University of Uyo, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Port Harcourt and a Masters Degree in International Relations from University of Port Harcourt. 

Hon. Enemi spent most of his work life as a banker. He worked with Zenith Bank Plc and left to Fidelity Bank Plc where he resigned as Head of Public Sector Group to run for legislative office in 2015. He ran to represent Asari-Toru Constituency 2 in the Rivers State House of assembly under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He won and has since been a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly. He has just been re-elected for a second term in office. 

He chaired the House Committee on Commerce and Industry on the Rivers State House of Assembly and was a member of the House Committees on Finance, Environment and Judiciary. 

He is currently the Chairman of the House Committee of Information and Training, and also serves in the House Committees on Education, Lands and Housing and, Ethics.

He is the Convener of the Rivers Professionals Group (RivProW) and a co-founder of the Open Professionals Exchange Network (OPEN). 

Hon. Enemi is passionate about young people and spends most of his time coaching and mentoring young people. He is a social intervention strategist and has worked tirelessly to lift people out of poverty lines. 

He is a writer, a poet and a public speaker. He also engages in Agro enterprise and likes to be called a farmer. He is married to Priscilla with four children, Viera, Jaydah, Avia and Jason.
