Each year we hold independently organized TED events in Port Harcourt. This time we are holding one, themed Reconnect, In the rapidly evolving world of technology, we can easily become locked into a default frame—viewing challenges and innovations through the limited lens of current practices, established methodologies, or personal interpretation. But what if the next breakthrough requires us to realize we've been looking at the entirely wrong screen? Reconnect is a challenge to rewire the frame on technology. This all-day immersion experience compels us to consider the same information—data, code, design, and strategy—in a radically different context, offering a completely new perspective that enhances understanding and accelerates innovation. We're shifting the narrative to explore the stories of tech that are not yet seen, redefining how solutions should be architected, and questioning the beliefs that currently limit progress. This is where thought leaders, solution seekers, and the curious convene at the intersection of Science, Design, Code, and Business—to reconnect fundamental principles and unlock the future of tech.
