Stories forms our education, culture and socialization. Storytelling is an important process in the formative years of children because it entails the roots of our values. The Niger delta story set in the Niger Delta communities, locates us as a people in space as we can make sense of our identities and trace our origin even to future generations. It’s imperative that we pay attention and take advantage of these stories. Professor emeritus of history and an archivist.
