Sikiboi is a Nigerian Afropop/Afro-house singer, vocalist, and songwriter born and raised in Port Harcourt. Sikiboi’s progression in music started off when he decided to start a solo career in 2017. Siki is a fan favourite, especially at his alma mater, Rivers state university, where he debuted with his widely accepted single “Anytime soon”. Sikiboi’s other songs include ‘Ride or die’, ‘Billing’ , 'Found love', 'Jumoke' and the viral alternative song 'One day' which was produced by Omah Lay. ‘Ride or die’ was huge and was a fan favourite in Port Harcourt. The song also gained major airplay on radio across Port Harcourt and Lagos. Sikiboi moved from a starter to one of the most sought-after performers in shows and festivals across Port Harcourt. Sikiboi has shared the stage with numerous artists like Rema, Idahams, Ajebo hustlers, Dr. Barz, and others. Sikiboi has constantly collaborated with accomplished Starboy/Wizkid’s official DJ, DJ Tunez, and has forthcoming features from some of Nigeria’s biggest artists. Sikiboi’s debut EP “Something beautiful” containing the smash hit “Billing” dropped in December 2021 and received massive acceptance around Nigeria and music hubs of South Africa and France which drew attention from international music companies. Sikiboi inked a licence agreement with NWE worldwide, a French music company in a joint venture with Bullock music, his parent record label in July 2022. As an artist who believes in the power of community in shaping intellect, he is a big fan of TEDxPortHarcourt and is happy to be contributing to this year’s edition.
