Dr. Ureh is a consultant Otorhinolaryngologist/Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon in the University of Port Harcourt Teaching hospital.She attained the MBBS degree from the University of Port Harcourt, did her residency program in Ear,Nose and Throat Surgery, same University Hospital. She was the 1st female doctor from Rivers State to attain a Fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology, West African College of Surgeons. During her residency, she served as Treasurer, Vice President and she was the first female President of the Association of Resident Doctors,South-South Region, Nigeria.The platform presented the opportunity to organize the first ARD Research methodology course, setting up an electronic library and giving back to the hospital community. In 2018 Dr. Oparaodu was awarded Leading Women in Rivers State by Port Harcourt Business and Peoples Award Organisation, as well as a Fellowship from the Institute of Policy Management and Development. She is the iniator for Chimdi Odu Foundation (COF)
