As citizens we ought to make a deliberate decision to become conscious citizens. We suffer under the illusion that we can keep managing but the reality is that it’s either by miracle or shared chance that we can achieve good governance. We are in a dysfunctional society where political correctness is becoming a luxury. We must reverse and reframe our loyalties and challenge our governments and political tribes, politicians must earn their patriotism and not assume to be patriots.
