The school is meant to be a place where people are transformed into solutions for society,hence the app” Education in my city “. A local solution that’s independent of government which helps to increase participation of stakeholders in the school system and also improve the quality of education in our community. There are like STEM centres made up of instructors and volunteers who act as demonstrators, it’s a meaningful system for quality assurance in our schools. Joseph Ene is a teacher, an educator and an altruist. For the past eight years, he has been making positive impact in the minds of everyone that passes through his classroom as well as those outside of it. He started his teaching career during the compulsory National Youth Service Corps where he saw first-hand the level of decay in our education system. He has worked assiduously to make a difference even in his little corner in our education system and in the process, has developed a template to resuscitate education in Africa particularly in Nigeria “The school should be a place where people are transformed into solutions”.
