Engineer, Doctor, Reggae Lover, Philanthropist, Liverpool FC Supporter, Comedy Connoisseur

Achinike Ibekwe holds a Doctorate in Naval Architecture from the Newcastle University UK, specializing in station keeping design/analyses and in-service performance integrity assessment of floating Oil Production Systems. He is a Chartered Engineer with the UK Engineering Council as well as a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). As volunteer technical focal point, he actively contributes to the sustainability of the Rivers State University Centre of Excellence in Marine/Offshore Engineering, a Shell JV/ NNPC Social Performance initiative. He enjoys comedy and satire, particularly ‘The Daily Show’ with Trevor Noah. He is an “unrepentant reggae lover”, ardent Liverpool FC supporter, avid reader, and a huge fan of Barack Obama Doctor, Reggae Lover, Philanthropist, Liverpool FC supporter, Comedy Connoisseur...
