WHERE ARE WE
Last year, we were TEDxStadiumRoad. We shared ideas based around the theme: “Fast-forward to Creativity” - sharing ideas on how we can make ourselves grow creatively. Since then, a lot has happened. Forbes named a Nigerian Africa’s first billionaire; Nigeria finally got around to rebasing its GDP emerging as Africa’s biggest economy; technology based start-ups are on a (meteoric) rise; the power sector has become wholly privatized; focus on agriculture has intensified and a most crucial election year looms ahead. We also have changed, expanding beyond a single road to become TEDxPortHarcourt.
